Speaker Problems (2 speakers)

I got some el cheapos, they actually sound great on my PC, but I want to plug them into my iBook, but when I plug them into my headphone jack I'm only getting sound out of the left speaker. Anyone know how to fix it, when I put the balance all the way to the right I get no sound.

Try another set of speakers or headphones. If there is not sound, it's likely the headphone jack on your iBook is bad. Otherwise, it could be a flakey jack on the speaker. Try lightly wiggling it around, see if it cuts in and out.
