hi there this is my first post so hope its in right section

i re installed all software on my ibook g4. i have some altec lansing speakers vs4121 that i want to connect to my mac but cant find software to download anywhere on the net. i tried there website but that wasn't much help
i want to listen to itunes through my speakers not my mac

It does not appear that you should need any software to operate those speakers (it is a Mac after all...). I don't have the speakers, but I took a look at their specs.

According to page 2 of the manual (page 4 of the PDF doc). It looks to me like you should be able to plug the lime green audio cable into the headphone jack on your iBook.

Have you already done that?

hi thanks for posting a reply, sorry i meant i want to use the speakers for my airport wireless connection

it worked now... i switched my mac off and then when switched on there was more software to install .....speakers came on then .... thanks for your help
