Hi,

I have this weird issue with my late 2012 iMac. The speaker sound (which is crap btw., way too much fake, bloated bass) fluctuates in volume. When I use headphones the sound is fine though.

Has anyone else experience this issue?
Thanks!

I'm not sure if its the same issue as yours but I have noticed that if I'm watching a video at a certain volume and then pause and resume the sound level is noticeably lower although the volume is still the same, I have to turn it up a few notches to regain the same noise level. I use VLC so not sure if its an issue with that or something else but it hasn't bothered me enough to look into doing anything about it.

Yes, I have the exact same issue, but when starting the the video again the sound goes up to the original volume again after a few seconds.
Hmm...strange.
