Hey guys,

When I tried making a call, the speaker at max volume is very quiet and is barely audible. Is that normal or did I receive a defective unit?

Edit: Just compared an identical voicemail between my watch and my phone and I would say the watch's max volume = 6+'s volume at around 50%.

It's definitely audible under a completely silent room at max volume, but it's definitely much quieter than the 6+ at max volume.

I'm concerned how I can hear the caller via the speaker on the go.

Can you guys compare an identical voicemail and play it on your watch and your iPhone 6+ and see if you have a similar finding as me?

I find that the watch's max volume is equivalent to the 6+ at around 50%. Though the watch may appear louder as the sound is clipping more but do pay attention at the intensity of the volume.

Was anyone really expecting a loud speaker given apples history with the iPhone and iPad?

It is definitely hard to hear if you're in anything besides a quiet environment...

That being said... for the minuscule size of the watch/speaker what do you expect? Even better are the complaints that you can't play music on it. Seriously?! I guess some of us have different uses/expectations for this watch.

I did this (although I have a 6, not 6 plus) and the volume is maybe 50% of the phone. I think yours is normal.
