Speakerphone and Phone to Ear Problem

I have an iphone 4s and ever since I upgraded to IOS 8.1.1 from 7.1.2, people claim that I sound very low or am breaking up (the first 10 seconds of the call.) It works perfectly with Bluetooth. Has anyone else experienced this with the 4s?

By the way, I just upgraded to IOS 8.1.2 today, however; I still have the problem.
