I'm new on the forum. I recently bought the 2018 MBP w/touch bar and I just wanted to get your take on what you think of this upgraded speakers. My home also has a 2017 MBP w/touch bar, so I specifically comparing the two. Considering that the 2018 version is upgraded, I'm unsure why but the 2017 speakers sound more solid and crisp in my opinion. The 2018 speakers just has more bass but I don't think it's that clear and I constantly find myself cranking up the volume higher in general.

Are you talking about the 13" or 15" models?
I seen quite a big difference between my 15" 2017 and 15" 2018.
The 2018 is louder, more refined and more bass.
