So I'm looking at getting a powerful speaker but portable enough for around the house. Basically between bedroom, lounge, kitchen...and bathroom :D
Price isn't an issue. So am considering getting either:

Bose Soundlink II vs Jawbone BIG Jambox

or

Bose Soundlink Mini vs Jawbone Mini

It will be used 99% for:
1. Music from iPad
2 Playing around with Algoriddm DJ app on iPad

Will use it on the odd occasion with mobile phone or iPod touch

I'm into music with heavy beats/bass but I prefer treble for that quality/clarity.

Anyone got personal experience with either or both? Thanks.

PS Beats speakers also an option instead of Jawbone

If you're serious about sound, beats are not an option. That's 100% paying for brand. I don't know about Bose but a few of my friends have the jawbone and it sounds really nice. Great everythings but we do listen to more of your kind of music.

I'm a big fan of Bose. They are expensive as anything, but for the most part really good quality but sound is good. If you like the deeper bases, probably go Bose.

I own an SL2 speaker. I use it when I want a portal speaker like if I'm working in the garage. It sounds pretty decent in the garage to me. But be aware that its size limits how much sound it can really make. It will sound better if it's in an enclosed space. But if you have it outdoors, it's not going to be very loud.

I use it with my iPhone over Bluetooth. Works fine.

I've heard the SL mini at stores. I would avoid that unless you want something really small. It's small and will sound smaller.

Bose hands down

After doing some research I bought the Bose soundlink mini and its awesome. You wont be disappointed. Also, bose customer service is top notch based on my experience with their headphones.
