I have a 24" iMac M1 and am looking to add external speakers. I currently do a lot of virtual meetings as well as listen to a lot of music on my iMac, and am wanting better sound than the stock speakers. The iMac only has USB-C ports as well as a headphone jack. Thanks for any help you can provide!

I'm going to GUESS that most powered external speakers that use a USB connection will have USBa ports (not USBc).

No real problem, just get a cable with USBc on one end and USBa on the other.

Or, get an "adapter cable" like this:
(the above item is so useful, it might be worth having 2 or 3 of them around)

One other factor that might arise when using external speakers in a live meeting is audio feedback. Turn up the speakers too much, and your mic might start "squealing"...

Open your favorited online shopping website/app and search for "Bluetooth speaker" or "Bluetooth soundbar".
If you already have a stereo set, search for "Bluetooth audio receiver"
