I am going to purchase some speakers for my ipod. I am going to use it at work, so I want something small and I really do not want a sub. I really like the circle shaped JBL one. However, does anyone actually make speakers for the ipod that have a built in radio too? (I love my sports talk radio.)

Of the small units, the JBL On Stages do sound the best.

You might want to take a look at the DLO iBoom's. They're just like a regular boombox with FM radio, and they also will play music from your iPod. However, I don't believe they have AM radio, though, which is probably what most of your favorite sports talk shows are on. They're worth a look though. Here's the link to the review of them on iPodlounge (a great site by the way, definietley worth a look if you've never been there before) http://www.ipodlounge.com/index.php/reviews/comments/dlo-iboom-speakers-with-fm-radio-and-boombag/
Hope that helps some...

I personally own an iBoom and its great for the price and has great sound. It may not be suitable for an office enviroment, but I reaaly don't know your situation. My dad has the Bose Sound Dock which is drop dead awesome. The bose is great size for the office but doesn't have a radio and cost a bit more than the iBoom.

I say go for the iBoom because it has the FM tuner and is versatile: office to beach.

I was at a party where a guy had the Bose one, it sounded great. I think they are a little expensive, but I was very impressed with the sound.

I was thinking of getting the altec lansing one? anyone have it, from the reviews it doesn't seem so hot. I like the size/shape it can fit on a window cile (at least mine) where i plan on using it

I have the first iteration of the AL InMotion for my office at work. It sounds pretty good in that space (about 9' x 13'), although the bass is not really strong. How can it be in speakers that small? Decent stereo separation considering thee size. It works well on battery power as well, although I'm usually using AC. So far, I've used the same set of batteries for well over 10 hours. All in all, I'm quite happy with this speaker system.

OTOH, we got our daughter the JBL OnStage for Christmas, and it blows the InMotion out of the water as far as I'm concerned. The bass is much more pronounced.
