Hey people,
i havnt posted for quite a few months as ive had no problems with my powerbook at all. its a rev e 1.5Ghz powerbook with superdrive and 512mb ram. its about a year old now still running smoothly. it has slowed down slightly however i base this on a 80gb hardrive with only 12gb left and other silly downoads like cabos and limewire. Is there anyway to totally uninstall either and get rid of all traces? windows has an add/remove program however i havnt found a similar device on mac and simply drag and dropping the program into the trash leaves folders linked to that program elsewhere on my computer.
Would buying a gig chip of RAM help speed up my computer?
My other question was about 5.1 speakers. i was hoping to purchase a set of speakers for my powerbook. from what i understand my sound card wont support 5.1 surround sound speakers? would you suggest i buy an external sound card (usb/firewire) or buy 2.1 speakers? what options do i have with increasing my powerbooks sound output.
cheers
