So I have cash in hand to buy the new mac pro, entering more order I get the $130 rebate off a printer offer. not interested in that but i do see that in canada it expires on jan 21/08 which is in a few days. Does apple usually come out right away with another deal to go with your purchase and if so is it worth waiting a few days to see or will it be a period of time before they offer something else? I wouldn't mind getting an ipod rebate or something like that.

they almost always follow up with another rebate of approximately the same value...and it is almost always a printer rebate, so i wouldn't make your decision based on that. the rebate is half of the tax for the machine, but you also have to pay tax on the thing you get "for free" with the rebate.
