Hey, I have a mid 2012 mbp and the screen near the camera area is detatched from the case a bit. Everything seems to work fine but just wondering what I can do to fix this? Is there some special adhesive?

I believe the ifixit (www.ifixit.com) site and maybe even OWC (www.macsales.com) sell the adhesive strips needed to attach the screen. I'm not sure if the screen on the MBP attaches the same way as on iMacs so those adhesive strips may not work right. Give OWC a call first and ask.

OWC said they don't sell anything. Not seeing anything on ifixit guess I'll contact them.

You can try cleaning off the old adhesive and use double sided adhesive for generic screen replacement on a variety of phones and tablets.

If you want to take the guess work out of it. Get a new glass cover which already has new adhesive. Be sure to clean every spec of dust and interior smudge. Work in a low dust environment with no moving air. As it is impossible to remove either once the glass is fixed in place.
