Specific DVD Player

Hey,

What kind of a dvd player can I purchase that can play files on a burned dvd that has more than just one movie on it. For instance, if i burn 4 .avi files that total just under 4.7 GB (typical DVD storage) what kind of dvd player can play them as files, rather than burning a dvd using toast or some other program that creates AUDIO and VIDEO files.

I know my friend has one, but he's not too sure what the difference is, and i can't find the exact dvd player he has.

You need to save the .avi's in DivX format, and buy a DVD player which supports that.

so i can convert 4 or 5 movie files into DivX format and then buy a DivX dvd player (which i see common these days) and i will be all set?

are there any other specifications i should be looking for besides it supporting DivX. (anything that will effect or help out the dvd's that i will be playing)
