Since upgrading my 3GS to iOS4, I have experienced a new strange phenomenon within mail-reception:

Now and then I am receiving a mail, which places itself at the bottom of the incoming mail list. Such mails are always WITHOUT any sender/WITHOUT any contents, and ALL of them dated 1.1.1970! I can't wipe them out, neither can I delete them/move them. The effect is further that upon reception of such mail types, any further reception of mails is BLOCKED - I only hear the sound when new mails are coming in, don't SEE them in the top of the list. The only immediate way of eliminating the problem is to make a COLD reboot of the phone - then the odd mail(s) at the bottom of the incoming mail list disappear(s), and new mails are coming freely in without obstructions. A new restore of the system appears to be without effect.

I would be grateful for any hints which might eliminate the problem, thanks!
