I have an unusual question for a 24" iMac owner willing to answer it. I know the dimensions for the iMac are posted on the spec section of the Apple site.

My specific question is the distance between the surface the iMac is on and the beginning of the actual display and the height of the display itself. It would be kind of awkward to do this at the Apple Store and I don't know anyone that owns this machine.

I own a pair of wide screen 20" displays (addicted to multiple displays thanks to my job) that are not height-adjustable and I'm considering getting a 24" iMac in the near future, in which case it'd want to make the center-line (or the bottom) of all the displays line up to minimize the unevenness.

Thanks!

Distance form desk to chin- 6.5cm
Distance from desk to screen- 17cm
Distance from desk to top of iMac- 52cm

Hope that helps.

Danny.

Confirming Danny's measurements for the most part and if you want them in english, mine measures at:

2 3/8
6 5/8
20 1/4
