Ok, I wasn't getting any help from my original question, so I got past it by getting the new JAR file.

Anyways, now I'm basically on the last steps of the process, when this error pops up, saying that the Ipod is detected to be in recovery mode, and needs to be restored.

Can anyone please help me?

I have a G4 PPC Mac

if you're on windows, open task manager and quit any processes that say itunes or ipod. If you're on mac, open Activity Monitor and quit any processes that say itunes or ipod. That might help. (maybe)

Just double click the .jar file in the folder, and you will be fine. Same thing happened to me.

Thanks for the replies...I've updated my original post, and am in dire need of help. I've tried it 5 times and have failed all five of them, don't know what to do now...

seems like you have put the touch into recovery mode, go through the motions of restoring to 1.1.1 (not 1.1.2) and re-jailbreak 1.1.1 and then oktoprep and back up to 1.1.2 and try again
