So my friend started experiencing a very strange symptom on his MB today that I cannot for the life of me figure out. Any help/insight would be appreciated.
He cannot seem to load vimeo.com (random, I know)...it appears like their servers are down from the errors displayed in his browsers. Here is what we have tried, please let me know if I've overlooked something.
- Tried vimeo and www.vimeo.com, same result
- Changed DNS servers to OpenDNS and Google DNS, same result
- Different network connection, same result
- Wifi instead of ethernet connection, same result
- Safari, Chrome, Firefox, same result
- Flushed DNS cache on command line (dscacheutil -flushcache), same result
- Repaired disk permissions, same result
- Created a new user, same result on a clean login
Every other computer on the same network can access vimeo.com just fine as well. Thanks in advance for any other suggestions!
