Hi everyone,
Long time lurker, new poster.
My 2012 maxed out air is hampering my workflow in larger complex interface design / dev. Laggy performance moving complex layer groups in large projects means I need something more powerful so I can stop being frustrated.
Was going to head in to the Apple store today and buy the 2013 rMBP 2.7/16gb ram/512gb SSD without any customizations since I have an immediate need and really need to stop being limited by my tech.
I don't need a larger SSD with all the cloud storage I have.
What does pique my interest is the 2.8ghz processor with the larger cache as an add-on. Does 8mb really make a difference in CS6 for the rMBP as opposed to the 6mb?
Any help is appreciated as I'll be heading to the store in about 4 hours to go with my gut if there isn't a compelling argument for upgrading the chip.
Thanks in advance!
