Speck Case Not Fitting Right?

I finally got my MacBook Pro last Thursday and initially got the Incase Hardshell case for it. It was cool with the perforated design, but after experiencing a popping when opening the screen and reading a user's horror story of what it did to their hinge, I returned it for the Speck SeeThru Satin. I really like the case, except for one little thing that is annoying me. It in the left hand corner where the MagSafe is, it seems like the clip isn't popping onto the case properly. In short, the MagSafe is always slightly away from the case, and I have some paranoia about anything that may happen. Should I bring the case back for another? Just bring the computer and case to the store to see if the Genius can get it on right? Below, the first two pictures are the corner in question, and the last is the other corner next to the screen that is on perfectly. Thanks for any help! :apple:

I'm having the same issue with my new 17" that I got last week. I have a Speck Satin case and the magsafe adapter doesn't quite make a full connection most of the time. If I move the screen, it will pop right off. Maybe I can shave a bit off the Speck to get a better fit.
 
Make sure the mbp is fully seated at that clip point. I'm not having any issues with mine, the mag safe is fully there and doesn't pop off very easily.
 
Speck made a version of these cases which was designed to fit the older styled magsafe connector. The current versions of these cases are designed to fit the present style magsafe connector, I think someone sold you old stock. That would expain the "fit" issues you are having.
 
Mine is new stock from newegg. It has the cutout for the new adapter style and even shows it on the packaging that it supports both types of magsafe.

All is well now. I must have had a little piece of plastic around the cutout area on the case where the magsafe adapter lies. I scraped the area with my thumbnail and it seems to fit great now.

I ended up going back to the store on Tuesday, was checked into the Genius Bar, and had the bottom piece replaced with a NIB one :D
