Yes, they are very good cases. Definitely the most popular cases that people buy for their macbooks. It's very durable and will not bulk up your macbook pro.

Oh yes they are!
Had mine for year and 7 months, still looking new and strong!
Saved my MBP from scratches many times.

The only complaint is that you have to clean it sometime since dust can get in.
And for the first time taking the case off, its really hard.

Yes, Speck cases rock! I have a clear case and put a photo underneath it--now I can tell mine apart at the airport.

Also, I only put the top case on, don't care much about what happens to the bottom. Which also makes the bottom cooling normal.

I have one for my Retina and it is amazing and soft . But it came with smudges that I can't wipe off.

There's another thread on here with the same question and a couple of us had mentioned that the material Speck uses is cheap compared to Incase.
Over time the rubber flakes. Good luck. If I was to spend that much, I'd go with something more quality-Incase.

Those who had broken case just had bad luck or treats it like crap.
I have mine for almost 2 years and its completely fine.
