Hi guyz

I have a speck hardcase for my MBP 17 but the Kensington lock I bought won't fit because of the extra thinkness of the case.

Does anyone have a Kensington lock that fit with this hard case?

If you have a dremel or similar you could easily trim a small square where the lock opening is, so it fits securely.

Thanks. Apart from trimming the case, do you know any lock does fit?
Via the speck case description, it does say accessible to Kensington lock. It is a bit misleading if no lock does fit.:(

Maybe email them, see if there are specific model numbers that are supported. Tell them which one you have and that it doesn't fit. Speck Customer service has been nothing short of excellent every time I've dealt with them.

Good-luck!

u coudl take the botton case off ? lol

that's not helpful. if that was an acceptable solution, he wouldn't have posted.

I would call Speck Customer Service and see what they can do. Dhelsdon is right, they are excellent.
