Does anyone have this case by Speck or had for the 12 ? If so how is it and how well does it hold up ?
Thanks

Awful. Do not buy.

They switched the grips from grippy silicone type stuff to what seems like the exact same material as the case.

The result is a non grippy phone that has a surprisingly annoying hand feel....

I had one for the 12 Pro and its nice but like mentioned above, the changed the material of the grips and its not as nice as past iterations were. I wound up using it maybe 5 times max and its just sitting in a drawer now that I have a 13 Pro.

Just brought one for my 13 Pro. I know it's changed from previous iterations, but I do like it. It was ridges on the sides for grip when pulling out of your pocket. I'm going to give it a shot.

I was a grip fan for years but I returned mine. It was not magsafe acceptable and it just felt wrong.

Just got mine and am very disappointed. Speck has managed to completely ruin their cases over the last two years. First last year with the switch from rubber grips to just part of the molded plastic, and now by inverting the grips on the back. Not only that, the case is more flimsy and flexes much easier.

I get they needed to make it flat for MagSafe, but the non MagSafe version is the same way.

These were my go to case for as long I can remember but I guess it's time to look for something new. My only hope is that their lower tier "candyshell" lineup that shows up on Amazon and in department stores is still good...

Hate to hear this about the Presidio Grip. It was my favorite case for my XS, was planning on getting one for my 13 Pro but I don't like what I'm hearing. I have the Caudabe Sheath on it right now and might just stick with it.

Mine just came in and to my surprise it’s awesome, it actually has stiff , reinforced areas around the charge port and buttons, not flimsy like the OtterBox symmetry.. only other case that compares fit is apple’s…

We have it as well for the 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max. Version 2 with MagSafe.

A) we like it very much — still offers decent grip and good protection without being too bulky

B) Does work with my MagSafe chargers
