Wouldn't it be fair to tell people that while it fits, it doesn't have the cut outs for the newer ports? I'd venture to guess it was cut for the non-fw MB. Or is it open on the sides? I don't know.

The case doesn't block the ports. MagSafe & headphone jack works fine with the case on, no mods.

Hey. I have one of the iCoulor Sticker as a matter a fact ive had one for like 3 months now but never used them. Should I put the Apple Sticker on the MacBook or over the Speck Case? What did you do?

And do they have a SPECK See thru case for the 15inch MacBook Pro? Color: Clear.

Put the sticker over the Apple logo so it will light up nicely then Speck case.

Speck makes on e for 15" too.
 
Yeah I was on my iPhone, but now I can see how it doesn't block the ports.
I bet this would make Speck pretty happy that they don't have to remake the cases ... perhaps they can prevent the scratches their cases are prone to causing.
 
Satin...

Have you ever heard/seen the See thru SATIN cases? Which one would you prefer. I like the texture of the Satin but they dont have a clear!!!

I'm probably going the wait for the new cut to come out, but can you show some pictures of the ports, and the apple logo in the dark? Thanks!:apple:

Looks nice! I had PowerSupport on my iPhone and there is a slight graininess when viewing the text/image. How's viewing quality on uMBP with anti-glare screen protector?
 
Doesn't look like there is much room for that headphone jack. I'm sure any plug of enlarged size would not fit.

Based on what I'm seeing of the current design, the lock port on the right side of the unit would be covered.

I'd suggest waiting for an updated model.
 
Speck Cases are absolutely horrible. They do more cosmetic damage than they do protect it. You should have seen the mess it turned my old MacBook Pro into. Maybe they have fixed their problems with the new unibody Macs? I would prefer incase.
 
I just called speck today and they said they're planning on releasing the new cases in 3-4 weeks
