speck see-thru satin case question...improved?

Have the speck see-thru satin cases improved? I bought one for my mbp (mid 2009) right when they came out. I love it, my problem is that it is almost impossible for me to take the top cover off. Even the lady at the apple store had a hard time.

My boyfriend just bought a case for his white mb (late 2009) and the top part pops off suuuper easy! its great and I wish mine were like that, because sometimes i feel like im going to harm my computer.

I just want to know if the cases have improved, or if the macbook ones are just better. The reason I want to know it because I will buy another one if they have improved, but I don't want to spend $50 for nothing :S.

their probably the same since the mbp unibody hasn't changed from the last gens. good luck with your choice though
