Speck SmartShell or SeeThru for rMBP 15"

Hello, I am getting a case to protect the computer. On Speck's website, they have two series of cases for the MBP Retina Display. If color is not a concern, which one do you recommend? The SmartShell seems to be thinner and lighter. However, does it provide the same protection when compared with the SeeThru?

I have the clear SmartShell. It's not that light, but I compare it to the Air Jacket from Power Support [MBA 13"]. It's pretty thick, which probably makes a good protection from drops. Overall, I wanted a clear case from a reliable company and got exactly that.
If you have iPhone 4S on hand, it's twice the weight of the 4S.
