Speck Smartshell Vs Speck See Thru Satin

Hi guys,

Just wondered if anyone has had any experiences with the speck smart shell and see thru satin cases? I'm looking to buy one for my retina 15" MBP and Speck are out out of stock of the smart shell ones in black so I was gonna buy the see thru satin one. I just wondered if there were any major differences between the 2 cases?

I like the see-thru--I put a photo underneath to personalize the MBP. Makes it very easy to recognize in the TSA line and photos can switched out.

I was wondering the same thing. Same predicament.

Smartshells are thinner than their non-smartshell counterparts.

That is pretty much the only substantive difference.

I emailed them the same question:

Other than color, the only difference is the Smartshells are 30% thinner than the SeeThru models and they will only be available through us and Apple stores.
