Hello everyone, I just noticed a small speck under the top left of the bezel of my iPhone 5s. It seems to reflect light to the eye, but for some reason can't be photographed.

It doesn't seem to be a scratch, as the glass is perfectly smooth when I run my nail across it.

What is it?! Will it affect the resale value? It's driving me nuts now that I've noticed it!

When there's light directly on top of it yeah! Is this a normal thing?

Or is it some sort of sensor and I'm just being dumb?

Hell no it's not normal ! Lol I have had that issue starting from my 4s to my last iPhone 5 it especially sucks on iPhones with black front panels. Get it replaced, i have had to do it a few times that is unacceptable and you should not just accept it.

If it looks like a small speck of glitter under that glass, and when you shine direct light on i, it lights up bright it's not a sensor it's a flaw.

Will do. What should I take with me to the apple store?

They're not gonna replace it with a refurb model, are they?

So, what would they do? Just take out a new phone and give it to me or what?

If you manage to find an Apple store that has stock they should give you a new one, unless they manage to find a refurb one(highly unlikely).
