Speck with BookBook

Has anyone checked if a MBA 13 with a Speck Satin Hard Shell can fit in a BookBook?

Well - when I am around the house, up, down the stairs, and when I am around the office, in and out of conf rooms, I want the speck.

When I am outside - traveling - w/o a full laptop bag - I'd like the BookBook.
I don't want to have to rip off the speck every time I do that.
