my take as a current naked white 4S user is that alot of people with tight fitting TPU/silicon/rubber are reporting oil and moisture buildup on the back of the case. I've been thinking that it probably has to do with condensation especially if you live somewhere with 4 seasons. My considerations at this point are the Graft Leverage if the latch issue is fixed and the bookbook for a wallet replacement. The Otterboxes IMO are still the best protecting for the price and I'd just get the defender if you're worried about dropping it. The smaller otterboxes are no nicer aesthetically and you lose a great deal of protection.

TLDR: Graft Leverage for bumper style (wait for latch fix), bookbook for leather wallet, or Otterbox Defender for max protection style be damned, oh and the phonesuit for batterycase
