Hey guys,

I'm pretty lost when it comes to understanding how specs will impact my iMac experience. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I do a lot of graphic design and digital photography work, so I will mostly be using the adobe creative suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, InDesign).

Screen real estate is important to me, so I know i'll be getting the 27 inch, but I'm not sure how necessary the other upgrades are.

Right now my plan is to get a 3.2 i5, 1TB Fusion, 675MX model after reading comments in other threads. Am I thinking about the right upgrades? Is this the best value for performance improvement given how I plan to use the machine?

Thanks in advance for your input!

Evan

I think Adobe CS 6 can utilize multithreading, so you'll be happy with an i7 upgrade.
