I can't seem to find this anywhere. Apple just says "VGA up to 30 fps with audio."

What is the codec? H.264?

What is the resolution? 640 x 480?

How many kbps? 900?

I'd appreciate any help. I'm also interested in audio specs (e.g. codec? kHz?)

VGA = 640x480
I'm pretty sure it's h.264, whatever's the Apple standard.

VGA doesn't necessarily equal 640x480. Yet in this case, that's my guess too. I'm pretty certain about H.264, 640x480. Have no idea about data rate.

Thanks for your help. But does anybody know this information (including any info about audio)?

This is what Quicktime Movie Inspector shows for a a video file from an iPhone 3GS:

So yes, it's H.264 video with AAC mono audio.

On a phone it does. QVGA = 320x240, VGA=640x480
