Speculation on when the next iphone will be released?

any guesses on when the next version will be released? (yeah, i know, nobody really knows.)
my current phone just crapped out on me, and i've been holding out waiting for the new iphone. i dont' know if i should just give in and buy the existing one or wait a few more months and use an older phone in the mean time.
