I'm making a speech entitled: The Greatest Speech in the World- A Tribute.

It is going to be a testemant to public speaking as a whole. I have already quoted Hitler and Martin Luther King. I have spoken on the wondering of Orating in terms of accomplishing tasks.

Can anyone assist me with further ideas on the topic?

Take a look at Henry the V. "Once more into the breech." Watch Renaissance Man with Danny Devito and Gregory Hines where a soldier recites it in the rain while everyone is training.

Julius Caesar, Mark Antony, "Brutus said Caesar was ambitious and Brutus is an honorable man, so were they all, all honorable men."

More modern, "Win One for the Gipper"

MongoTheGeek's suggestion caused an epiphany.

How about you make your speech nothing but a collection of great quotes throughout human history. And order them in a way that is both humourous and almost makes sense.

In this vein, a few for you...

"Forescore and Seven Years ago..."

"Et tu Brute?"

"A day that will live in infamy"

"Veni, vidi, vici("I came, I saw, I conquered")"

"There you go again..."

"I ate what?"

Thanx ppl, as for making an entire speech outta quotes: I feel that that will be more of a quote recital than a speech so it's not happening, although I love the quotes given.

Make sure you make it funny. Funny stuff is much better than unfunny stuff.
