I know that Apple contains "Speech Recognition" software, but I need something like Dragon Naturally Speaking for my Intel Mac so that I can dictate into Microsoft Word docs. IBM's Via Voice is optimized for the G3/G4, so I can't imagine that would be too good.

Honestly, the Core Duo has all the power necessary to do a great job with a good speech recognition engine. Does anyone know of anything? Is there any commercial app available or open source project that has tackled the speech to text recognition challenge?

Hi. Noticed your older post. have you found any solutions? I've been trying ViaVoice X & it doesn't/won't work properly for me on my mac Intel machine. Thanks in advance.
