Speed Difference 5160 vs X5365

Besides more cores, is there a difference in speed per Ghz of the Woodcrest 5160 vs. the Clovertown X5365? They're both 3.0GHz. And looking to upgrade my 2006 Mac Pro.

Likely no difference, aside from more cores. Clovertowns are essentially the same as Woodcrest CPUs, only with four cores on a die instead of two. I'd say only upgrade if you use multithreaded software that can harness the additional cores.
