Just wondering if there's noticable difference between my 15' 512SSD 16RAM and 2.3Ghz vs 1TB SSD 16GB 2.7Ghz Late 2013 model.

Click to expand... Unless you're doing I/O intensive tasks, the difference is only noticeable in benchmarks. My late-2013 model 15" (2.6/16/1TB/750M) gets around 1000MB/s in both reads and writes, because the 1TB PCIe SSD has a 4-lane channel. 512GB and smaller ones have a 2-lane channel, and perform at around 700-750MB/s in reads and writes. But there's no noticeable difference.
