I noticed that the Macbook Pro 13'' there is a 2.26Ghz model how much of speed difference will you notice if you compare 2.26Ghz to 2.4Ghz?

Not much. If money isn't an issue, of course opt for the fastest processor you can get but if not, money would be better spent upgrading RAM and to a faster HDD.

IMO you should go for the fastest processor you can afford. it's a little easier to replace RAM and an HDD than replace a soldered in processor. plus you can upgrade RAM whenever you want
