Speed download app crashes in Leopard

Am talking to Yazsoft about this at the moment, but if I try to download more than about three large downloads at once, or set up a queue, Speed download crashes in Leopard. Have sent them a crash log and they said they will get back to me.

Anyone else having problems?

I installed it correctly by the way.

If I hear anything I'll post later.

Oh well, three days on and no word from Yazsoft.

While I was waiting I installed Leopard from the DVD onto a Lacie harddrive.

Connected to the net.

Downloaded Speed download.

So now there was only the OS and Speed download to conflict.

Installed it exactly as instructions say.

Downloaded one file (from morguefile.com).

Downloaded three files from morguefile.com and yep, it crashed.

Tried it with a couple of other sites. Same results.

Has anyone got it to work?

PS: Have tried on both an intel and a PPc machine.

i'm actually having the same problem. I've been searching on google and this is the only thing i find where someone else is having the same problem. I have the newest version of speed download and i did a clean install of leopard. I'd like to know when this will be fixed as well.

Speed download and Leopard: a fix

Basically, Yazsoft sent me a special build that you drop over the one in the folder in applications.

Works like a dream.

Go to the Yazsoft site, and find support

You can send an e-mail from there.

A guy called Johnny answered immediately and asked me to send the crash log.

Then they must have worked up a new build cos it arrived this morning.

I must say that I am well impressed with the support over at Yazsoft.

they also sent me that build, but i haven't had a chance to test it. I will most likely testing it later tonight.
