Speed Intensifier Tweak.

Ive read some threads on macrumors from 2011 that are archived now and their does seem to be good reviews of this tweak but seem not to confirm its stability.

Is anyone still using this tweak without issue ?

Or did it cause you any issues that affected anything such as battery life etc.

That tweak is an exact copy of FakeUpclock. Even the preference files have the same name. Furthermore, it's the older version of FakeClockup. It also has an "overclock" thing that simply removes the CPU's ability to sleep by editing the Power.bundle. This had long ago been proven to do nothing but drain you lr battery faster.

I suggest not using SpeedIntesifier, but rather the oringal FakeClockup

Thanks.

Ill have a look into fakeclockup.

Still interested from any users of Speed Intensifier too.

Why as intell said it's a old outdated copy of fakeclockup. Besides you can try one and then the other on your own.

Im wanting to know of any further stress on the battery via either tweak.

Winterboard lags my iPhone 4 and can see this helping greatly.

I have tried out both and either seem fine when speeding up the animations but obviously I cannot see the battery side of the tweaks hence my question to previous users.

I have taken into account intell's advice and am at present using fakeclockup as from today.

Is the winterboard lag you mentioned referring to the springboard scrolling? I had that too. Install Barrel from cydia, and voila, super smooth again :)

I have barrel installed and that helped a lot but i do still suffer from a little lag. The only themes i have installed are noki hd and black ups HD

Uninstalling winterboard cures this slight lag.

Update :

After using fakeclockup for a couple of days i see no extra battery drain so i will be keeping this one on my iPhone.

Resolved.
