I updatet from 2.2.1 to 3.0 and i'm sure that the system got a bit faster after that. Few days later i made a Jailbreak and after that my 3G got very slow. Sometimes the apps took 2 sec to quit after pressing the homebutton. So i recovered the iphone with a fresh system without playing in my backup after that. the speed was again very nice. Then i did the jailbreak again and - you guess it- it was veeeeerrrryyyyyy slooooooowwww again. So i kicked the jailbreak again and have to live without it now. It's a pitty for all these extra features, but i can live without them, when i get more speed and stability for that.

Does anybody else have these issues? Or perhaps a resolution?

Thanks in advance and greetings from Germany

Yeah I noticed that the jailbreak really does slow down the system. Even starting up takes 50% longer with jailbreak than without it.
