Speed Test on Seagate Hybrid 500GB HDD

Does anyone know what the write and read speeds are on this drive compared to a SSD?

I was thinking about replacing mine with a Vertex 3 SSD 480 GB until I saw they are going for close to $1,500, I could get one, but I can not justify the cost, the 120GB and 256GB are much cheaper.

I dont know the speed an it doesn't compare to the vertex 3, but my 500gb seagate hybrid boots up in 30 seconds and my novabench scores average 640.

maybe get one of the cheaper ones and optibay the one u have already? or just use an external firewire one?
