My Speed test on my Verizon iPhone. CDMA isn't slow.
 
You were on a wifi network and it didn't display properly. I've had that happen to me. It tells me 3G but in reality it's picking up wifi close by.

It is possible, but why would it say 3G then.

Because you run the speedtest thru wifi and then turn off wifi and take a screenshot while it displays 3G on top once the test is done loading.
You really are so smart, noone could think of it.
 
I think the OP just needed a little attention lol. The network in NJ is strong, but not nearly 10.6 MB download strong.
