Okay so, I have an iPod touch 2g and Its running iOS 4.2.1 but it kind of lags a bit, and iwas wondering if anyone knows how to do something to it so it can run faster, or maybe even downgrade without the shsh blobs on 3.1.3. Thanks :)

You won't be able to downgrade it. The only way to speed it up is by restoring as a new device. Unless you jailbreak, in which case you can install tweaks.

What's so slow?

Because you have an iPod Touch 2G, you can downgrade to to 3.X.X without any SHSH blobs. Its 4.X that you need the blobs for and even then, not really.

what tweaks help to speed it up? I have a jailbroken 2nd gen iPod Touch, and it's been running slowly for over a year now, even before the jailbreak.
