Speed Up Safari

I stumbled on a website today informing me of ways to somewhat speed up Firefox and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to speed up Safari, which is the browser I use much more frequently. Any tips would be most excellent.

Wouldn't do anything more than install http://glimmerblocker.org/.

There really is no need to speed up Safari. It works just fine.

Googleing "speed up safari" doesn't yield many credible results, especially results that (excuse the pun) "produce results".

Like I said above, Safari is pretty much optimized as-is.
