Speedier graphics with 10.15.4

After I updated to 10.15.4, I noticed that my games (both on Steam and from the App Store) had way better frame rates. Previously, some of the games were nearly unplayable on 10.15.3, even though they worked fine with 10.15.2. (This is using a Razer Core eGPU with an 8 gb Nvidia card.) Has anyone else noticed a difference?

I just upgraded to 10.15.4 and just navigating the UI seems peppier (Safari too ) - no eGPU.

However, I had a scary experience upgrading where nothing appeared on either display after I upgraded:

I ran into an issue when I upgraded to 10.15.4 just now - nothing would display on either of my LCDs! I used the Combo Updater: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2037?locale=en_US One Display is connected USB-C to Displayport, one is connected via HDMI Eventually some manner of turning monitors...
