speeding up iphone 4

Ever since i have jailbroken my iphone it has become really slow. I have friends who did the same thing but it didnt affect their speed. My ram is usually only at 270-290 on the the hand, theirs is at around 300-320. what could have cause this?? any suggestions on what to do?

Search for 'lag' in this forum.

Also, Winterboard has been known to cause lag for some people.

Do you have a really heavy theme installed by any chance?

or you can try "fakeclockup", it won't do much but it will speed up some things a bit faster.

these are just up the animated speed meaning quicker animations... it won't do anything to up your processing power..
