Texas, unfortunately.
Recently, my iBook G4 has been running terribly slow. I plan to max out the RAM in a short while, but until then, I want to know if there's any kind of program or actions could do to make help it run a little faster, just until I can get the RAM upgraded.

Getting rid of unused apps and files is a given, but is there anything else? I know there's a program for Windows called CCleaner, anything like that?

Thanks!

Aside from removing programs running at startup or in the background, increasing the RAM will be the only thing that makes a noticeable difference. Adding more RAM does not make your computer run faster, it does however make your computer more efficient in the tasks it carries out.

Running CCleaner in Windows does not make your computer run faster. It deletes the temp files and cleans out the registry.
