I've been a bit disappointed with my wifi speed at home, so in part of my troubleshooting I went to the local Apple Store and did a Speedtest.net test. I got extremely fast results of 80mbs-90mbs download speeds (on one of their new wirelessly connected iMacs). At home I have a fiberoptic line and two Airport Express units and I'm getting about 5mbs via wireless on my Powerbook g4.

I was just wondering if anyone else has tried speedtest.net at the Apple Store and seen these types of results. What sort of connection do they have at the Apple Stores?

I have comcast cable here in Millis, Massachusetts and recently upgraded my 10 year old cable modem to a new docsis 3.0 modem. My speedtest.net download speed went from 5mbs to 30mbs here at my house. I never though my modem was the bottleneck... but it was.
