Spell check in Mail in Lion...

Is there a way to limit spell check to ONLY the text I type in replying to an email? At the current settings, spell check goes all through the original email, headers, etc. I don't care about the other guy's errors, only my own.

Your thoughts?

If you configure Mail to spell check as you type, it will only spell check what you type.

Mail -> Preferences -> Compose -> Check Spelling
