I was wondering if there is a way to turn off the spell check voice? I know I can put it on silent but there are times I want my ringer on but not that voice (I don't ever want the voice).

Also I can't figure out in the "keyboard" section of general what the "check spelling" and "auto correction" does. I've played with them and tried to figure it out but it doesn't seem like anything changes.

Check spelling puts a red line under words the system thinks is spelled wrong and auto correction automatically corrects words it thinks is wrong.

Why do you mean by spell check voice?

I mean the electronic voice that says the word after the Iphone replaces a word that you speled wrong.

Does anyone have any more info on this? I can't believe I have to silence my phone to not have that annoying voice speak words when its replacing them.
